can you imagine how wonderful d&p’s wedding would be? i bet they’d plan it to perfection. it would be simple and beautiful. phil would wear a suit in navy and dan wouldn’t be able stop staring at the way it brings out the blue in phil’s eyes. dan would wear all black and joke about staying “on brand” but really he’d look stunning anyway and phil wouldn’t be able to tear his eyes away. it wouldn’t matter who walks down the aisle because either way they’d both be crying, and by the time they finish saying their vows, every single person in attendance would probably be in tears as well. the vows would be filled with inside jokes that only they can understand and references to their loving past and bright future. their first kiss as a married couple would be gentle and filled with love, with the two of them locked away in their own little world (just as they’ve always been). their first dance would be to a slow ballad and they’d whisper quietly to each other as they swayed in each other’s arms, kind of hoping the night wouldn’t ever end. the next song to play, as people start to join them on the dance floor, would be ‘toxic’. phil would make sure muse is on the playlist and dan would throw some kanye in there as well. and as the night progresses, the two of them would probably end up in a corner eating their own wedding cake and talking, just like they do in every other party or gathering. they’d have the loveliest time ever. and when they get home, they’re happy and in love, just like they’ve always been, and always will be.
